Nokia is expected to be releasing their next flagship phone sometime in the near future. Will it be ground breaking enough to take back market share from Samsung and Apple? A phone with a 41-megapixel camera and specs to match sounds like a pretty enticing deal. However, what may hold back this great camera phone from seeing success is the OS it’s running on. The Lumia 1020 is expected to launch with Windows OS; which in comparison to Android and iOS just lacks in features and overall application development. Many developers have put Window application support on the back burner, which has made some of the most popular apps unavailable to Window’s Phone owners.
Only time will tell if Nokia’s hardware is enough to outweigh a limited operating system.
