According to a publication on Apple Insider, The Korea Economic Daily has reported that Apple is looking toward Samsung with processor manufacturing in mind. This comes as a shock because one would think that Apple would follow its latest tendency of distancing itself from dependence on its rival company in the mobile market.
The chip in question is reported to be the A9 processer and could power the iPhone 7 in 2015. The manufacturing process could also start as early as sometime in 2014.
Of course a lot could change in a year; and I’m sure if Apple has the option to stop feeding Samsung’s pockets, it will do so by pursuing other options.
