As seen on Toy’s R Us’ UK website, the release dates for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are November 29th and December 13th. The Xbox One edges out Sony’s console by only two weeks which has a few people speculation that this move is a “game changer”.
This may be one of Microsoft’s “advantages” to their upcoming console. But I can’t honestly see anyone caring about the release date difference so much that two weeks would make them change their mind.
Plus, November 29th is black Friday.. I would rather wait in a nice line on December 13th instead of fighting tooth and nail to get one of this holiday season’s hottest items on the busiest holiday shopping day of the year.
What do you guys think? Do two weeks really make a difference in your purchasing decision?
