Cinesift, a tool that congregates rating scores from IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes, Metascore, and Letterboxd and then uses the data to organize the Netflix and Amazon video catalog. A tool very similar to Instantwatcher could be your next date night savior. Check it out here!
Advertisement worthy material aside, this website is a much needed fresh take on movie databases. Yes, we do all have the various rating websites, but there really hasn’t been a tool like Cinesift that combines all the user data into one location. The power of Cinesift isn’t the fact that it congregates user ratings – it’s that it takes that user data and existing movie database information and puts it into a format that users can use a real tool to solve a real need: what the heck to watch! Hopefully in the next couple of months we will get to see the site flourish with more content (Hulu, RedBox, etc…).
